Jonas is a Glasgow-based pianist & organist who covers all of Scotland and the North of England. He plays at all events including weddings, family celebrations and corporate functions.
Brought up in a musical home, Jonas graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1988 with a Master of Fine Arts degree. He has worked as a full-time pianist ever since, and has over 20 years of experience playing a broad range of musical styles. As well as being a piano player, Jonas is an accomplished organist. He is happy to provide his own excellent quality digital piano for your event if your venue doesn’t have one.
In 2008, Jonas moved to Glasgow and married Aileen, an accordionist. Together they form the ceilidh band, “The Cedervall Twostep”. The samples on this site are just a small taste of Jonas’ repertoire. Whatever the piece of music you require for your special occasion, he will endeavour to play it for you.
